You design, compute, and maintain features for training and inference, keep online and offline values in sync, and track down the leakage and skew that make a model look great in testing and disappoint in the real world.
You'll be a strong fit if you:
- Have built and run feature pipelines for production ML systems, batch or streaming
- Have worked with a feature store or built the equivalent yourself
- Know how to spot and fix training and serving skew, data leakage, and stale features
- Can explain to a modeler why a feature helps or hurts, using real evaluation results
Bonus if you've worked in regulated industries, or across on-prem and multi-cloud stacks without favoring a vendor.
