RAN Alarm Monitoring & Integration Engineer
Location: India
Shift: US shifts / Night shifts in India
We are seeking a technically skilled and proactive RAN Alarm Monitoring & Integration Engineer to support wireless network operations. This role involves monitoring network alarms, supporting LTE/5G integration, assisting with scripting and automation, and coordinating connectivity troubleshooting with engineering teams.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience in Nokia or Ericsson RAN integration, telecom operations, or wireless network support.
Hands-on experience with alarm monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management.
Understanding of LTE/4G and 5G RAN concepts and integration processes.
Knowledge of telecom equipment and fiber, Ethernet, and RF cable connectivity.
Basic to intermediate scripting skills in Python, Shell, Bash, or similar languages.
Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work US shifts from India.
Desired Skills & Experience
Familiarity with OSS/NMS tools and network monitoring platforms.
Experience with alarm correlation, fault management, and incident tracking.
Exposure to automation for monitoring, reporting, or troubleshooting.
Experience supporting major wireless carriers and collaborating with remote engineering teams.
What You Will Be Doing
Monitor RAN alarms, investigate faults, and coordinate timely resolution.
Support network integration, troubleshooting, and post-integration validation.
Assist with scripts to automate routine monitoring and reporting.
Coordinate cable connectivity checks and troubleshooting.
Maintain incident records, technical documentation, and shift handover reports.
Tech Breakdown
Nokia or Ericsson RAN platforms.
LTE/4G and 5G technologies.
OSS/NMS monitoring tools.
Python, Shell, or Bash scripting.
Fiber, Ethernet, and RF connectivity.
Daily Responsibilities
Review active alarms and prioritize issues affecting network stability.
Coordinate integration activities and fault resolution with engineering teams.
Validate alarm clearance and document actions taken.
Share progress updates and provide clear handovers across time zones.
