About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Company Description Bankable Limited is building Africa’s first financial health scoring platform, transforming six months of bank transaction data into a 0–100 score that helps individuals become bankable, often for the first time. The company addresses the gap where millions of Nigerians have bank accounts but no credit history, making it difficult for banks to assess lending risk. By analyzing financial behavior such as savings patterns, income consistency, spending stability, debt indicators, and resilience to emergencies through Open Banking data, Bankable provides actionable insights. The platform helps consumers understand and improve their financial health while enabling lenders to discover creditworthy borrowers they currently overlook. Bankable Limited is based in Abuja, Nigeria and is targeting a 2026 launch.
Role Description The Vice President of Product Marketing is a full-time remote role responsible for shaping and executing the go-to-market strategy for Bankable’s financial health scoring platform. This role oversees product positioning, message development, and market segmentation to ensure the platform resonates with consumers, lenders, and partners across key African markets. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product management to define value propositions, partnering with sales to develop enablement materials, and leading marketing initiatives that drive adoption and engagement. The VP will analyze market trends and customer insights, refine pricing and packaging strategies, manage key product launches, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, impactful campaigns. This role also involves establishing performance metrics, tracking product marketing effectiveness, and continuously optimizing strategies for growth and market leadership.
