Role Description The Site Supervisor – Interior Design is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day execution of interior projects at client locations. The role involves coordinating with designers, contractors, and vendors to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, timelines, and quality standards. The Site Supervisor monitors progress, manages site resources, conducts regular inspections, and addresses technical or operational issues as they arise. This position requires maintaining clear documentation, preparing daily site reports, and communicating project status to management and clients. The Site Supervisor also helps manage client expectations on-site, ensures safety and compliance, and supports smooth handover of completed spaces.
Qualifications
Strong project management skills to plan, organize, and oversee interior site activities and timelines.
Team leadership abilities to guide site staff, coordinate contractors, and foster collaborative working relationships.
Customer service orientation to manage client interactions professionally and address on-site concerns effectively.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and understanding of interior design concepts, drawings, and materials is preferable but not mandatory.
Relevant experience in interior fit-out or construction supervision, preferably in residential or commercial projects.
Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently at site locations.
Good verbal and written communication skills and willingness to work flexible hours based on project needs.
