Role Description The New Product Development Specialist will work full time on-site at the Ajmer location, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and refine new measurement and instrumentation products. This role involves conducting market and technical research, defining product requirements, and translating customer needs into practical, manufacturable solutions. The Specialist will coordinate product development activities, support prototyping and testing, and ensure compliance with relevant industry and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include documenting product specifications, monitoring project timelines, working with production and quality teams to address issues, and supporting product launches with clear technical communication and training materials. The role requires a hands-on approach within the plant and laboratories, engaging directly with engineering, sales, and service teams to ensure new products meet performance, reliability, and cost targets.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for problem-solving, data interpretation, and performance evaluation.
Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D) experience for innovation, prototyping, and technical feasibility studies.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and clear technical documentation.
Candidates should possess Project Management capabilities for planning, coordinating, and tracking product development activities.
Candidates should possess Product Development skills for requirement definition, design validation, and transition to manufacturing.
Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical) or equivalent technical qualification.
Experience in industrial instrumentation, process control, or related manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with quality standards, reliability testing, and safety regulations in industrial applications.
Proficiency in using design, simulation, or data analysis tools, and the ability to work on-site in a laboratory and production setting.
