Role Description This full-time, on-site Sr Production Engineer role is based in Pimpri Chinchwad and involves overseeing daily manufacturing operations on the shop floor. The Sr Production Engineer will plan and monitor production schedules, coordinate resources, and ensure targets are met safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include optimizing workflows, troubleshooting process issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as quality, maintenance, and design. The role also includes implementing quality control measures, reviewing production reports, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity. The Sr Production Engineer will coach and guide production staff, support adherence to safety and regulatory requirements, and participate in regular performance and process review meetings.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Production Engineering and Production Planning skills.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for problem-solving and process optimization.
Candidates should possess experience in Quality Control and adherence to industry standards.
Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills for coordinating with teams and reporting.
Relevant engineering degree or diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies is beneficial.
Ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a strong focus on safety and compliance.
