Medical Receptionist & Patient Support Specialist (Pediatric Care)

Overview:
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Medical Receptionist & Patient Support Specialist (Pediatric Care) to manage high-volume patient calls, schedule and reschedule pediatric appointments, and provide professional phone support. The role also involves maintaining accurate patient records, signing off charts, and assisting with insurance verification and billing administration while ensuring patient confidentiality. This is a remote opportunity offering full-time or part-time flexibility aligned with US practice hours, ideal for candidates with medical or dental office experience, strong English communication skills, and HIPAA certification or equivalent privacy training.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, EST | Full-Time ( 40 hours per week)
Responsibilities:
Handling high-volume patient calls and inquiries
Scheduling and rescheduling appointments for pediatric patients
Managing patient data entry and signing off charts
Assisting with insurance verification and billing admin
Providing customer service-driven support over the phone
Requirements:
Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting
HIPAA certification or equivalent patient privacy training
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional home office setup
Strong attention to detail with proven administrative capabilities
