About the role
Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, you’ll support a dedicated portfolio of Business Managers and their teams. This is a busy, varied coordinator role where you’ll deliver high-quality people support across recruitment, onboarding, HR administration and employee relations.
Duties include but are not limited to
Coordinating high-volume recruitment and selection, including pre-employment medicals, credential checks and due diligence
Onboarding new starters: issuing contracts, preparing documentation and running inductions
Acting as Workday Champion: managing data integrity, training users and resolving system queries
Preparing contracts, variations and other employment documentation
Managing visa and VEVO compliance checks and monthly casual conversion requirements
Running programs including Reward & Recognition, Employee Referral and our Start, Stay, Succeed retention program
Supporting the State P&C team with Award/EA interpretation, investigations, grievances and ER matters
Preparing monthly and quarterly reports on recruitment, learning and compliance
Attending job fairs and RTO partner visits to attract new talent
Skills & experience
Experience in high-volume recruitment
Entry level generalist HR experience
Strong MS Office skills and quick to pick up in-house systems (Workday experience is a bonus)
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the confidence to build relationships with managers, operations teams and frontline staff
Highly organised, able to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines
A qualification in HR
