ABAP Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ABAP Developer with hands-on experience in SAP development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ABAP programming, a deep understanding of SAP modules, and experience in modern SAP technologies. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing SAP solutions to support business processes and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and support SAP applications using ABAP
Develop and enhance:
Reports (ALV, Interactive)
Interfaces (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs)
Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (SmartForms, Adobe Forms)
Work on performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs
Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Implement enhancements using:
User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework
Support integration with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware)
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
Contribute to SAP upgrades, migrations, and S/4HANA transformations
Required Skills & Qualifications
7–12 years of strong hands-on experience in ABAP development
Expertise in:
Data Dictionary (DDIC)
Modularization techniques
Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP)
Strong experience with:
Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF)
Experience in SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, or PP
Knowledge of debugging, performance tuning, and SQL optimization
Experience with SAP transport management and version control
Good understanding of SAP architecture and integration concepts
Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP S/4HANA and code remediation
Exposure to:

SAP Fiori/UI5
Familiarity with SAP BTP and cloud-based integrations
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
