About Lac Léman Capital
Lac Léman Capital is a Brazilian search fund. We raised capital from institutional and individual investors across the Americas and Europe to find, acquire and operate a single Brazilian company and lead it into its next phase of growth. The same two Managing Partners who speak with an owner from the first conversation are the ones who will run the company.
The opportunity
Three careers. One seat. A search fund does the work of private equity, investment banking and strategy consulting at the same time: on real deals, in Brazil's middle market, with AI at the core. The Global MBA Fellowship gives up to three current MBA students a defined project inside that seat, either a proprietary sector thesis or a live-deal workstream, owned end to end and reviewed directly by the Managing Partners.
What you will do
Depending on your project:
Origination. Build a proprietary sector thesis, map the market and help reach company owners.
Company analysis. Review CIMs and teasers, screen opportunities, write one-pagers and investment memos.
Valuation & structuring. Build three-statement, LBO and DCF models; shape NBO and LOI structures.
Due diligence & execution. Run Q&A and data requests, prepare management meetings, join site visits when relevant.
AI & technology. Use and build AI agents; automate research and data pipelines in the cloud.
Investor communication. Prepare pipeline updates for an investor base across the Americas and Europe.
Who we are looking for
Current MBA students at leading business schools worldwide, with:
Exceptional academic record at a top-tier school.
Analytical rigor. Comfortable with numbers, Excel and financial statements; modeling experience is a plus.
Clear communication. Structured writing and speaking; fluent English.
Ownership. You finish what you start.
Technology curiosity. You want to learn how AI changes investing.
Ambition. You are targeting private equity, investment banking or strategy consulting, or one day want to run your own company, including as a searcher.
Portuguese is a plus, not a requirement.
Format
Remote · part-time during the term (15 hours/week) or full-time summer (30 hours/week)
Unpaid · up to 3 seats
A defined project: a proprietary sector thesis or a live-deal workstream
Structured as an academic project; eligible for school credit where your program allows
Direct mentorship from the Managing Partners and a first-hand view of how a search fund is built
