Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at Begusarai Today. The Video Editor will review raw footage, select and assemble clips, and edit video content to align with editorial guidelines and brand standards. Day-to-day tasks include trimming footage, adding transitions, sound, subtitles, and graphics, as well as performing color grading to ensure visual consistency. The role also involves collaborating with writers, designers, and other team members to produce news segments, feature stories, and social media videos on deadline. The Video Editor will optimize video formats for different platforms, maintain organized project files, and suggest creative approaches to improve audience engagement.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing to handle end-to-end creation of video content.
Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and appealing visual quality.
Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create visual elements, lower thirds, and simple animations.
Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and audio-visual alignment.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet publishing deadlines.
Good communication and collaboration skills for working with editorial and design teams.
Relevant experience in news, digital media, or publishing is preferred; a diploma or degree in film, media, or a related field is beneficial.
