Operations Excellence Manager

Role Description The Operations Excellence Manager is a part-time, remote role responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving the center’s operational processes and workflows. This role oversees project coordination across research activities, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and reporting procedures are met efficiently. The Operations Excellence Manager will develop and refine internal policies, documentation, and performance metrics to support consistent delivery of economic studies and reports. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring operational performance, identifying process gaps, proposing solutions, and collaborating with research and administrative teams to embed best practices. The role also involves supporting resource planning, digital tool adoption, and risk mitigation to enhance overall organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
Strong skills in operations management, process improvement, and workflow optimization.
Experience in project management, including planning, coordination, and monitoring of deliverables.
Analytical skills in data interpretation, performance measurement, and reporting.
Familiarity with economic research environments or policy-focused organizations is an advantage.
Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., project management software, online communication platforms).
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments in a remote setting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, economics, or a related field; advanced studies are a plus.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and adapt to evolving priorities.
