Accounting includes work across multiple areas of Accounting including:
As Accounting and Admin Assistant - VBPH, you will be responsible for the following finance and administration related tasks for Virbac Philippines, Inc. A: Accounting related task; (1) Accounts Payable Page 11 of 15 ● Process supplier invoices and recognize proper VAT and withholding taxes ● Review the accuracy and completeness of supporting documents for staff expense claims ● Process payment requests ● Process payments through bank checks and/or online transfers ● Releasing of checks ● Review the BIR Form 2307 for release to suppliers and providers ● Petty cash management (2) Closing ● Post and process journal entries for all business transactions, ensuring accuracy ● Amortization of prepayments ● Depreciation of fixed asset ● Review and update all accruals/provisions ● COGS and Inventory revaluation ● Account reconciliations ● Performing reconciliations for intercompany accounts (3) Audit support ● Work closely with auditors and provide necessary documentation/inquiries (4) Compliance ● Annual registration of books with BIR ● Business permit renewal B: Admin related task; ● Main contact person for field team supervisors regarding any office-related needs ● Endorse queries from the company mobile number to appropriate departments ● Monitor attendance and ensure the timely submission of leave forms by team ● Assist in finding suppliers/providers, as needed ● Main contact person for general supplier invoices and validation ● Coordinate with building administrator for gate passes, work permits, scheduling of pest control including maintenance ● Overseeing fixed asset monitoring and control Page 12 of 15 ● Ordering supplies, managing equipment, and ensuring general office upkeep ● Filing accounting documents ● Booking domestic and international flights, hotels, and transportations and organizing internal meeting ● Support office moving/renovation projects ● Dispatching of sales invoices to customers or documents to the service providers. ● Coordinating with the HMO, Group life insurance, company vehicles of the employee request, claims, updates and renewals. ● Assist with staff/employee recruitment and workday/employee data management.
A Technician applies broad practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through short cycle education.
