Role Description The VP of Operations is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in the Pune Division, responsible for overseeing daily operational activities across the college. This role includes managing academic and administrative processes, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring smooth functioning of departments and student services. The VP of Operations will collaborate with senior leadership to implement strategic initiatives, monitor performance metrics, and maintain compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks involve supervising operational teams, improving workflows, coordinating cross-functional projects, and addressing operational issues in a timely manner. The position also requires regular reporting, stakeholder communication, and continuous evaluation of operations to support institutional growth and excellence.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Operations Management and Project Management skills to oversee processes, teams, and cross-functional initiatives.
Candidates should possess solid P&L Management and Strategic Planning skills to support financial oversight, budgeting, and long-term institutional goals.
Candidates should possess robust Customer Service skills to ensure high-quality support for students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
Candidates should possess excellent leadership, people management, and communication skills to guide teams and collaborate with senior management.
Relevant experience in educational institutions or service-oriented organizations, with a track record of operational improvement and change management, is highly beneficial.
A postgraduate degree in Management, Commerce, Education Administration, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience in operations leadership will also be considered.
Ability to work on-site in the Pune Division, handle multiple priorities, and use data-driven approaches for decision-making is required.
