We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Data Architect for our client,a leading global consulting firm. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving complex, large-scale data migration programs and shape enterprise data platform architecture.
If you have deep expertise in the AWS EMR and Big Data ecosystem, a strong architectural mindset, and experience leading end-to-end migration initiatives, we’d love to connect with you!
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience leading end-to-end, full-lifecycle, large-scale data migration programs as a lead architect.
8+ years of experience in Big Data technologies and the Hadoop ecosystem.
5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS EMR.
Deep expertise in EMR architecture, including EC2, EMR Serverless, and EKS, along with cluster sizing and cost optimization.
Hands-on experience with AWS EMR, Glue Data Catalog, Lake Formation, and Amazon DataZone.
Strong understanding of Apache Spark internals, including execution plans, memory tuning, and shuffle optimization.
Experience designing enterprise data platforms and target-state architectures.
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and large-scale metadata management.
Excellent technical leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to influence architecture decisions and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
