Role Description The Senior Manager Operations will oversee end-to-end operations for printing and packaging facilities in Nagpur, ensuring smooth production, resource utilization, and adherence to quality and safety standards. This full-time hybrid role requires regular on-site presence in Nagpur, combined with flexibility for some work-from-home responsibilities such as planning, reporting, and coordination. Day-to-day tasks include supervising production schedules, managing inventory and supply chain activities, optimizing workflows, and coordinating with cross-functional teams such as sales, procurement, and quality assurance. The role involves analyzing operational data, implementing process improvements, resolving operational issues, and driving cost-efficiency while maintaining high customer satisfaction. The Senior Manager Operations will also mentor and guide team members, support compliance with regulatory and industry standards, and contribute to strategic decision-making for operations.
Qualifications
Strong operations management experience in manufacturing, printing, packaging, or related industries, with a proven ability to manage production floors and cross-functional coordination.
Skills in process improvement, workflow optimization, and use of data or metrics to drive efficiency, quality, and cost control.
Experience in supply chain, inventory management, and vendor coordination to ensure timely availability of materials and minimal downtime.
Proficiency in using ERP or production management software, basic data analysis tools, and standard office productivity applications.
Excellent leadership, team management, and people development skills, including the ability to coach, delegate, and manage performance.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities to handle operational issues and collaborate with internal and external partners.
Knowledge of quality standards, safety practices, and regulatory requirements relevant to printing and packaging operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant professional certifications is an advantage.
Ability to work in a hybrid model based in Nagpur, with flexibility to manage on-site operational needs and remote planning or reporting tasks.
