Role Description As a Flutter Developer at Lilac Infotech, you will design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS using Flutter and Dart. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate requirements and wireframes into high-quality, performant, and responsive user interfaces. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and maintainable code, integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services, troubleshooting and optimizing application performance, and participating in code reviews. You will also help ensure consistent UI/UX across platforms, contribute to technical documentation, and stay current with Flutter best practices and new features. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart, with experience building and deploying cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS.
Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, state management (e.g., Provider, Bloc, Riverpod), and RESTful API integration.
Experience with UI/UX implementation, responsive layouts, and custom widgets, ensuring accessible and user-friendly interfaces.
Knowledge of Firebase or similar backend-as-a-service platforms, push notifications, in-app purchases, and app store deployment processes.
Familiarity with version control systems (preferably Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to debug, test, and optimize applications for performance, reliability, and security.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift) development is an advantage.
Interest in AI-driven and enterprise solutions, and willingness to continuously learn new tools and frameworks.
