Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, and deployment management. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in automating software delivery pipelines, managing cloud environments, monitoring application performance, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
Work with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Monitor application performance, system availability, and infrastructure health using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or equivalent solutions.
Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency and system reliability.
Implement DevSecOps practices, security controls, access management, and vulnerability remediation.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles.
Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
Knowledge of Linux administration, networking fundamentals, and cloud security best practices.
Experience with monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and production support.
Relevant DevOps or Cloud certification is mandatory.
Preferred Certifications
Candidates should hold at least one relevant, valid certification, such as:
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional
Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
Preferred Qualifications
Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and automated security checks.
Exposure to microservices architecture and cloud-native application deployments.
Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and performance optimization.
Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
Work Location
This is a full-time onsite opportunity in Bangalore, Karnataka. Candidates should be comfortable working from the client or company office.
