CSA – IT Lead
Purpose of Role
To lead and manage the school's IT infrastructure, systems, services, and technology operations, ensuring reliable, secure, and effective technology support for teaching, learning, administration, and communication across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and monitor the school's IT infrastructure, networks, servers, hardware, software, and digital systems.
Ensure the smooth functioning, maintenance, and timely upgrading of computer labs, smart classrooms, CCTV, audiovisual systems, and other IT facilities.
Maintain accurate records of IT assets, equipment, software licences, warranties, and maintenance schedules.

Lead the IT team and ensure timely resolution of technical issues and support requests from staff and students.
Establish effective IT support procedures and coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance and technical support.
Provide IT support for school events, examinations, meetings, and other technology-enabled activities.

Implement and monitor network security, access controls, antivirus protection, data backups, and cybersecurity measures.
Ensure compliance with school and ISP requirements related to data protection, information security, and responsible use of technology.
Identify and address security risks, system failures, and unauthorized access.

Support teachers and staff in the effective use of digital learning platforms, educational technology, and classroom technology.
Manage and support school management systems, digital platforms, and technology integrations.
Provide basic IT training and guidance to staff to improve digital skills and effective use of technology.

Plan and manage IT procurement, budgets, upgrades, and technology projects based on school requirements.
Maintain IT policies, procedures, documentation, and service records.
Coordinate with ISP/central IT teams and ensure school technology practices are aligned with organizational standards.
