Engineering Professional / Team Leader Expert (individual contributor) 4 to 7 years
MISSION AND OVERALL TARGET OF THE JOB
Accountable for the end-to-end technical product realization of automotive components in European plants—from concept
development through pre-series to series production handover. Drives product optimization, ensures component and process
maturity, and supports the achievement of project scope, timeline, cost, and quality targets. Escalates to management when
objectives are jeopardised.
KEY ACTIVITIES
• End-to-end responsibility for a defined project, leading the technical and supporting the operational execution to ensure it meets scope,
timeline, and quality targets while aligning with overall program objectives and financials.
• Support budget monitoring and cost tracking, identify potential cost risks, and contribute to the achievement of profitability targets.
• Define and implement measures with the project team to ensure the required product and process maturity for planned pre-series and
series production in European plants, including active on-site involvement.
• Organize and participate in internal technical, project, and customer meetings.
• Collaborate in international project teams and coordinate with global stakeholders.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for providing the physical product on time and meeting internal and customer requirements.
• Develop product concepts and drive continuous product development and improvement.
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to undertake extended or frequent assignments in Europe.
• Perform component matching, alignment, and optimization activities.
• Create and maintain all relevant documentation (e.g., change cost notifications, quotation documents, parts lists, and part history
records).
• Safeguard product know-how and ensure development activities comply with process, specification, and HSE requirements.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Degree Bachelor’s Degree
Field Science/Engineering or a combination of Economics and Science/Engineering
KNOWLEDGE / EXPERTISE
Preferred Work Experience 4 to 7 years of experience
Essential Expertise Project Management, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and language proficiency in the national
language and English
