About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
Disrupt-X builds ALEF 360°, a product ecosystem that gives owners and operators full visibility of their buildings, assets and people. Each product is its own platform: CAFM / CMMS for maintenance and facilities, HSE for health, safety and environment, and EAM for the full life of an asset. The platforms connect and share data, so a customer can start with one and add the others.
Our customers run real estate portfolios, facilities, factories, hospitals, schools, ports, airports, warehouses and hotels.
Job Description
You lead your product. You do not wait for tasks. The roadmap is yours, and so are the results.
Understand the user and the problem
• Talk to the people who use the product every day: technicians, supervisors, facility managers, HSE officers, asset and reliability engineers.
• Learn from support tickets, customer meetings, sales calls and usage data. Use AI tools to find patterns fast.
• Work from the customer to the value: customer, business problem, operational process, product solution, business value.
• Ask "how do we make a better user?", not only "how do we make a better product?". A good feature makes the user faster, more skilled or more confident.
Decide what to build, and when
• Own the roadmap for your platform and explain the reasons behind it.
• Prioritize with a clear method: impact, confidence and effort, backed by evidence.
• Define the outcome, the user jobs and what "done" means. Business Analysts then write the detailed stories with you.
Ship it and make sure it works for users
• Work every day with the Tech Lead, Business Analysts, Product Designer and QA.
• Keep ease of use in mind at every step. You do not do the final design, but you own the result if users find the product hard to use.
• Check every release against the acceptance criteria and write clear release notes.
Measure and report
• Set the KPIs for your platform and track them: adoption, usage, and the user's own results (for example, jobs closed right the first time).
• Send short, clear updates to leadership. Turn customer, support and sales feedback into roadmap decisions.
Help the business sell and deliver
• Give Sales, Service Delivery and Marketing what they need: product content for our target industries, capability answers for RFPs, and clear notes on what is standard and what is custom.
• Never promise roadmap items to a customer. Take requests back to the team.
What You Need
• 6+ years in product management, with at least 3 years on B2B or enterprise SaaS products.
• Hands-on product experience in at least one of these areas is a plus:
CMMS / CAFM
Work orders, planned preventive maintenance (PPM), SLAs, technician scheduling, spare parts, asset and location hierarchy, mobile apps for field teams
HSE
Incidents and investigations, permit to work, risk assessments, inspections and audits, corrective actions (CAPA), ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
EAM
Full asset lifecycle, asset registers, criticality, condition and reliability, maintenance strategy, capital planning, ISO 55000
• A record of shipped products that moved a real number. You can tell us what changed for users and how you measured it.
• Strong discovery skills. You run customer interviews and find the real problem behind a request.
• Clear writing. You can turn a messy problem into outcomes, user jobs and acceptance criteria a team can build from.
• Comfort with data. You define metrics and can pull and read data yourself (SQL, BI tools or spreadsheets).
• Good sense for usability, especially for users on mobile, on site, in a hurry.
• Smart, daily use of AI tools in your own work. You use AI to think faster and go deeper, not to produce more text. You check what it gives you, keep only what is true and useful, and own the final result.
• An eye for AI inside the product. You can spot where AI truly helps our users. Examples: suggest the likely fault and fix from a work order, draft an incident report from a technician's voice note, or flag an asset that is likely to fail. You weigh the value against the cost to run it, and you know when simple rules are the better answer.
• Excellent English, written and spoken. You work well remotely and keep others informed without being asked.
Nice to Have
• Experience in more than one of CMMS, HSE and EAM.
• Experience moving a product to multi-tenant SaaS.
• Integrations with ERP systems (for example SAP or Oracle), IoT sensors or building management systems.
• Offline-first mobile apps for field workers.
• A background in maintenance, facilities, safety or reliability before product management.
• Related certificates, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, CMRP or IAM.
• Experience in a startup or a small product team.
• Fully remote. You need a quiet, professional setup. Cameras are on for customer meetings.
• Ownership over instructions. We judge work by outcomes, not by hours or tasks closed.
• A small team around you: Business Analysts, a Product Designer, a Tech Lead and QA. The product decisions sit with you.
• Real impact. What you decide reaches customers in weeks, not years.
