Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and technically sound MEP Engineer to oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing activities for a high-rise construction project in Ahmedabad. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, contractor coordination, quality control, and ensuring that all MEP installations comply with project specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor MEP works at the construction site, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, firefighting, and drainage systems.
Coordinate MEP activities with civil, structural, and other project teams.
Review MEP drawings, layouts, technical specifications, and shop drawings.
Ensure installation work is completed as per approved drawings, project schedules, and quality standards.
Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely execution of work.
Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues related to MEP installations.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, and inspection of MEP systems.
Maintain daily progress reports and coordinate with project managers and consultants.
Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and applicable building standards.
Required Skills:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in MEP works, preferably in high-rise building construction.
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, firefighting, and drainage systems.
Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical specifications.
Experience in site supervision, contractor coordination, and quality control.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
