## About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mobile App Developer to build and maintain iOS and Android applications for a fitness and wellness platform offering personalized coaching, structured workout programs, exercise education, and progress tracking.
## Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cross-platform iOS and Android applications using React Native.
- Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces and reusable components.
- Integrate the mobile application with existing websites, backend services, and REST APIs.
- Implement secure authentication and client profile management.
- Develop workout calendars, assigned workout plans, exercise video playback, and workout tracking.
- Implement live training session booking, scheduling, and session access.
- Build progress dashboards, workout history, rewards, milestones, and progress photo features.
- Integrate push notifications and trainer-client assignment alerts.
- Integrate third-party APIs for video conferencing, fitness tracking, and analytics as required.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
- Test and debug across iOS and Android devices.
- Manage Apple App Store and Google Play Store submissions.
- Maintain technical documentation and provide ongoing support.
## Mandatory Qualifications
- *Strong, demonstrable experience with React Native is mandatory.*
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience building and publishing applications for both iOS and Android.
- Experience integrating REST APIs, authentication systems, and backend services.
- Experience with video playback, push notifications, and calendar-based functionality.
- Familiarity with mobile application security, performance optimization, and responsive UI design.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot platform-specific issues in iOS and Android.
## Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with fitness, wellness, coaching, or subscription-based applications.
- Experience integrating Stripe-powered web platforms.
- Familiarity with video conferencing APIs and wearable fitness integrations.
- Experience with progress dashboards, gamification, rewards, and milestone tracking.
- Experience with automated testing and continuous integration/deployment.
## Expected Deliverables
- Production-ready React Native applications for iOS and Android.
- Integration with the existing backend and APIs.
- Testing, bug fixes, and deployment support.
- Complete source code and technical documentation.
- Handover of repositories, build instructions, and project assets.
