Job Description:
Counseling Corner, LLS is hiring! We are hiring for outpatient therapist for full-time (25 weekly clients) and part-time (15 weekly clients) positions. This is a hybrid-role, our office location is in Gurnee, IL (Lake County area). The pay is $55 per 53-minute therapy sessions.
Full-time therapists are expected to work 25 clinical hours/sessions per week and Part-time therapists are expected to work 15 clinical hours/sessions per week.
This is a hybrid role where you are expected to be in the office 50% of the time (we are flexible). Our office is located in Gurnee, Illinois (in the Lake County area). The other half of your sessions will be conducted via telehealth at your scheduling convenience.
This position is great for recent Graduate School grads with some therapy experience, looking to gain experience in private practice and who are interested in providing individual therapy sessions to those in need. This position is great for anyone looking to make their own schedule and looking to complete their 2,000+ hours toward full-licensure. Weekly supervision with a fully licensed practitioner (LCSW) is included in employment and is free of charge.
While there is currently no wait-list of clients for these roles, we are expecting growth at a rate of 3-5 clients per month. We are looking for employment to start in November/December of 2026, and are flexible with the start date.
There is opportunity/possibility to transition into a Salaried Employee, after 1 year of service with Counseling Corner, depending on individual employee performance.

This is a W2 role, with no benefits, paid every 2 weeks.
Compensation is $55 per 53-minute sessions, paid every 2 weeks via payroll paycheck.
Some evening and/or weekend availability, is a must.
Hybrid role (in-office and telehealth from home).
Our office is located in Gurnee, Illinois (Lake County, IL area).
We handle credentialing with insurance panels.
We handle billing and marketing; you focus on your clients.
Free weekly supervision with an LCSW, to work towards your clinical license.
Qualifications:
LSW or LPC
Needed:
Open schedule to at least 15 clinical hours/sessions per week (part-time).
Some evening and/or weekend availability.
Ability to travel to our office, at least one-day per week, in the Lake County, IL area.
Some experience providing therapy to individuals.
