Case Operations Manager — ConveneMD
Location: Remote (US) · Type: Full-time · Compensation: $60,000-$80,000 base + performance bonus
About ConveneMDConveneMD matches medical malpractice and personal injury firms with vetted, board-certified, actively practicing physician experts — case-ready dossiers in 24 hours, guaranteed. We're physician-led, deliberately transparent (firms see the expert's true rate; experts keep 100% of it), and run on a modern, automation-first operations stack.
Our operations system prepares your cases — research, drafts, tracking, reminders — so your time goes to judgment, people, and deadlines, not data entry.
The roleYou own every case from intake to delivered dossier. When a firm sends a matter, the 24-hour clock starts — and you are the person who makes sure we keep the promise, or say an honest no within 4 business hours.
What you'll do- Triage new case requests: specialty fit, deadlines, conflicts — fast, documented decisions- Match matters against our expert roster and drive screening calls between firms and physicians- Assemble and QA case-ready dossiers: license/board verification, testimony history with plaintiff/defense split, rates — nothing ships with a gap in it- Coordinate retainers, engagement paperwork, and the billing pass-through (experts invoice us; firms get one clean, itemized bill)- Track every deadline like it has your name on it; escalate risks before they're emergencies- Be the calm, competent voice firms associate with ConveneMD
What you bring- 3+ years in litigation support, expert-witness services, legal nurse consulting, or a med-mal/PI firm (paralegal or case-manager background ideal)- Working knowledge of how expert engagements actually run — retainers, depositions, disclosure deadlines- Deadline discipline bordering on obsession, and the communication skills to match- Comfort working alongside an AI operations system (it preps; you decide)- Discretion: case material is confidential, full stop
Why this seatYou'll be the first operations hire at a company built to do this one thing better than the giant platforms: verified quality, honest pricing, kept promises. Your fingerprints will be on the playbook everyone after you uses.
To apply: send your resume and a short note on the hardest deadline you've ever owned to cases@convenemd.com, subject "Case Operations Manager."
