Role Description The Graduate Engineering Trainee will support engineering and manufacturing operations in a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. Daily responsibilities include assisting in production planning, monitoring manufacturing processes, and supporting equipment maintenance under the guidance of senior engineers. The role involves collecting and analyzing technical data, preparing reports, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency, safety, and quality. The trainee will collaborate with cross-functional teams on small projects, help document standard operating procedures, and participate in training to build technical and professional skills.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills to collaborate with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams.
Solid Analytical Skills to interpret technical data, troubleshoot issues, and support process improvements.
Foundational knowledge in Manufacturing Engineering to understand production workflows and equipment.
Basic proficiency in Mechanical Engineering concepts related to industrial systems and components.
Ability to assist in Project Management activities such as planning tasks, tracking progress, and documenting outcomes.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
Familiarity with CAD tools, MS Office, and basic engineering software is an advantage.
Willingness to learn, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
