Security & Compliance Engineer (6-8 Years) Role Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Security & Compliance Engineer with 6-8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and governing cloud security frameworks across AWS and Databricks environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS security architecture, Databricks security controls, AWS security services, and cloud security posture management tools such as Orca. This role will be responsible for establishing secure-by-design practices, ensuring regulatory compliance, mitigating security risks, and enabling secure adoption of cloud and data platforms across the organization. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement secure cloud architectures for AWS and Databricks platforms. • Develop and enforce security standards, policies, guardrails, and compliance controls across cloud environments. • Configure and manage AWS security services to protect workloads, data, identities, and network resources. • Implement and monitor security controls for Databricks workspaces, data access, authentication, authorization, and governance. • Leverage Orca Security for cloud security posture management, risk assessment, vulnerability management, and compliance monitoring. • Conduct security reviews, threat assessments, and risk analysis for cloud and data platform implementations. • Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and data engineering teams to integrate security best practices throughout the development lifecycle. • Support security audits, compliance assessments, and remediation activities. • Develop security monitoring, incident response, and continuous compliance processes. • Drive security awareness and support the adoption of DevSecOps practices across engineering teams. Required Skills & Experience Core Technology Focus • AWS Security Architecture • Databricks Security Architecture • AWS Security Services • Orca Security Nice-to-Have Focus • SAST (Static Application Security Testing) • SCA (Software Composition Analysis) • Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) Security Eligibility • 6-8 years of experience in Cloud Security, Cybersecurity, Security Engineering, or related fields. • Strong hands-on experience securing AWS cloud environments and data platforms. • Experience implementing security governance, identity and access management, data protection, and compliance controls. • Understanding of cloud security frameworks, risk management, and regulatory compliance requirements. • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and secure software development lifecycles. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. What We Are Looking For A security-focused professional with expertise in AWS Security Architecture, Databricks Security Architecture, AWS Security Services, and Orca Security, who can drive cloud security, compliance, and governance initiatives while enabling secure, scalable, and compliant enterprise platforms. Experience with SAST, SCA, and IaC Security will be a strong advantage.
