We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive manual and automation tester to join our QA team. This role requires a solid understanding of both manual testing techniques and test automation frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery. You will work collaboratively with developers, product managers, and DevOps to build robust and reliable test strategies across web, mobile, and API layers. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in building automation suites and executing end-to-end testing in fast-paced Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs both manual and automated testing to ensure the software meets the highest quality standards.
Create detailed test plans and strategies that outline the scope, approach, resources, and schedule of testing activities.
Develop and execute functional, non-functional, regression, and integration test cases.
Utilize a strong understanding of QA concepts, STLC, SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and risk-based testing to guide testing processes and ensure comprehensive coverage.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, Cucumber, or similar frameworks.
Conduct thorough testing of web applications, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript components.
Ensure the software performs consistently across various browsers and devices by conducting cross-browser and cross-device testing.
Perform testing of REST APIs using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
Use tools like JIRA, Azure Boards, or similar issue management systems to track and manage defects and testing tasks.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:
Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
Knowledge of SQL and ability to write basic queries for database testing.
Scripting/coding skills in one or more languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS.
