Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, creating mood boards, and preparing detailed drawings for residential and commercial interiors. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and preparing construction documentation. The role involves site visits, close coordination with contractors and vendors, and ensuring design intent is maintained throughout execution. The Interior Designer will also meet with clients to understand requirements, present design proposals, incorporate feedback, and support project timelines and budgets. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dehradun.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Interior Design and FF&E, including concept development, material selection, and furniture specification.
Candidates should possess skills in Space Planning and Architecture fundamentals to create functional, code-compliant layouts.
Candidates should possess skills in Construction Drawings and technical documentation for clear communication with contractors and project teams.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic 3D visualization skills is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and effective communication and collaboration skills are required.
A diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, along with relevant studio or site experience, is preferred.
