We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor – Study Abroad (VADODARA AND SURAT OFFICES) to guide students interested in pursuing higher education in the UK, Europe, New Zealand, and UAE.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Counsel students on international education opportunities based on their academic profiles, career goals, budgets, and preferred destinations.
Provide accurate information about universities, courses, admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, and application procedures.
Specialise in study opportunities across the UK, Europe, New Zealand, and UAE.
Assess student eligibility based on academic qualifications, English language proficiency, study gaps, and other admission criteria.
Assist students with university shortlisting, application processing, offer letters, and admission documentation.
Coordinate with university representatives, admissions teams, and internal processing departments.
Guide students regarding scholarships, financial planning, and visa documentation requirements.
Follow up with prospective students and maintain accurate records of counselling sessions and applications.
Achieve assigned counselling, application, and enrolment targets while maintaining high service standards.
Stay updated on international admission policies, university intakes, and destination-specific education trends.
Requirements
✅ 1–3 years of experience in overseas education counselling or study-abroad admissions preferred.
✅ Good knowledge of UK, European, New Zealand, and UAE education systems.
✅ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and student counselling skills.
✅ Understanding of university applications, admission criteria, scholarships, and visa processes.
✅ Strong follow-up, relationship-building, and lead-management skills.
✅ Target-oriented approach with a passion for helping students make informed career decisions.
