Key Responsibilities
Define end-to-end hybrid transformation roadmaps integrating IBM Z with cloud-native platforms
Lead modernization assessments, and pilot programs; Adept in developing modernization business cases, solution estimates, and proposals; strong pre-sales experience
Ability to position GenAI-driven accelerators for modernization
Build and institutionalize the Modernization Factory model
Embed automation in documentation extraction, testing, and code analysis
Mentor senior mainframe engineers and modernization specialists; ability to train junior engineers to become mainframe engineers
Required Experience
12–18+ years in mainframe architecture and enterprise modernization – proven ability in setting up a mainframe modernization CoE and Presales
Strong expertise in IBM Z / zOS, COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2 and other mainframe technologies
Experience in leading large-scale modernization programs with hybrid cloud integration
Strong exposure to GenAI use cases in legacy system analysis and/or documentation
Deep understanding of API enablement, microservices transformation, and DevOps integration
Demonstrated pre-sales and client advisory experience
