Oracle Spatial Developer & PL/SQL Developer (GIS)
Location: Hyderabad
Experience Required: 8+ Years in Oracle Spatial Development
Reporting To: Project Manager
Travel Requirement: Open to relocation and travel across India and global locations as required
Key Technical Skills Required
Oracle Spatial & GIS Development
Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Spatial and GIS applications.
Design, develop, and implement spatial database solutions using Oracle Spatial.
Expertise in spatial data modeling, management, and optimization.
Experience in spatial analysis, buffering, overlay, intersection, and proximity operations.
Creation and maintenance of spatial indexes for performance optimization.
Development of advanced spatial queries and reports.
PL/SQL Development
Strong expertise in PL/SQL programming.
Develop, optimize, and maintain:
Procedures
Functions
Packages
Triggers
Query tuning and performance optimization.
Database maintenance and troubleshooting.
Oracle Workspace Management
Hands-on experience with Oracle Workspace Management.
Version control and management of spatial datasets.
Data synchronization and conflict resolution.
GIS Standards & Spatial Technologies
Strong understanding of:
WMS (Web Map Service)
WFS (Web Feature Service)
WFS-T (Web Feature Service Transactional)
WCS (Web Coverage Service)
Advanced practical knowledge of:
GML (Geography Markup Language)
Experience integrating GIS systems using OGC standards.
AutoCAD & Mapping Technologies
Good understanding of AutoCAD Map3D.
Knowledge of:
DWG file formats
AutoCAD APIs
Geospatial mapping concepts
Experience handling CAD-to-GIS data workflows.
Database Technologies
Good working knowledge of:
Oracle Database
SQL Server
PostgreSQL / PostGIS
Programming Skills (Good to Have)
C#.NET Development
GIS application development using .NET technologies
API integration and customization
Domain Experience
