Data Governance / Business Analyst Consultant

You will be:
Defining and documenting Data Governance operating models and business processes.
Designing processes for managing business terms, business metadata, technical metadata, and data products.
Establishing frameworks for data ownership, data domains, and accountability.
Developing data classification standards and supporting regulatory and security requirements.
Connecting business knowledge with technical data assets.
Designing and documenting data lineage and impact analysis processes.
Working with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and define target-state solutions.
Supporting the implementation and adoption of governance processes in the Knowledge Catalog platform.
Preparing project, operational, and governance documentation.
Facilitating workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer.
Supporting organizational change and user adoption initiatives.
Your profile:
Experience in Data Governance initiatives within large organizations.
Strong understanding of Data Management principles and frameworks.
Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process modeling.
Ability to document business processes clearly.
Knowledge of metadata management concepts and practices.
Understanding of business glossaries, data dictionaries, and data products.
Experience with data ownership and stewardship models.
Knowledge of data classification and regulatory compliance requirements.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience preparing documentation and conducting workshops.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.
Nice to have:
Experience with enterprise data catalog solutions.
Familiarity with Google Knowledge Catalog.
Knowledge of data lineage and impact analysis methodologies.
Experience in financial services or another regulated industry.
Understanding of data quality management practices.
Experience delivering user training and change management activities.
