Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior UXUI Designer role based in Velachery. The Junior UXUI Designer will support the design of user interfaces for web and desktop applications used in the oil and gas industry. Day-to-day tasks include creating wireframes, visual designs, and interactive prototypes, collaborating with product managers and developers to translate complex workflows into intuitive user experiences. The role involves conducting basic user research, organizing feedback, refining designs based on stakeholder input, and ensuring consistency in layout, typography, and visual elements. The Junior UXUI Designer will also assist in maintaining design systems and preparing assets for development handoff.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in UX and UI design principles, including wireframing, prototyping, and information architecture.
Proficiency with common design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar).
Ability to conduct and synthesize basic user research, usability feedback, and user testing outcomes.
Attention to detail in visual design, layout, typography, and interaction design.
Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with product, development, and domain experts.
Relevant educational background in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Interest in learning about industrial domains such as oil and gas, and in designing for complex data-driven applications.
Capability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and adapt to evolving project requirements in an on-site team environment.
