[What the role is]
We are looking for an operationally-strong and service-oriented leader to join the Mandai Operations Department (MAOD), which oversees the operations and maintenance of NEA's portfolio of memorial facilities. You will support the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of Mandai Crematorium. [What you will be working on]
You will be responsible for the following:
Lead and manage a team of officers and outsourced contractors to ensure smooth service ceremonies, cremation processes and collection of cremated remains.
Plan and coordinate maintenance, overhaul and repair works for cremators and auxiliary equipment to ensure equipment remains operational and service capacity is maintained.
Supervise and deploy operations officers effectively, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and providing on-the-job guidance where needed.
Manage contract administration, including operational and maintenance requirements, work orders, verification of completed works and payment follow-up.
Handle public feedback, appeals and enquiries promptly and sensitively, including investigating issues, engaging stakeholders and preparing reports or recommendations where required.
Support operations across Mandai Crematorium and Columbarium, Yishun Columbarium and Kranji State Cemetery, including rostered weekend and public holiday duties.
