🚀 WE’RE HIRING: Project Management Officer (PMO)
ViaTech is looking for an experienced Project Management Officer to support the coordination and governance of multi-vendor software projects.
In this role, you will help ensure effective project delivery by monitoring timelines, effort, KPIs, and milestones, identifying risks, and supporting corrective actions to keep projects on track.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Monitor IT project progress, timelines, milestones, and objectives.
Manage and update project plans and Gantt charts, identifying deviations from initial schedules.
Track KPIs, effort, progress metrics, and delivery performance.
Identify risks, delays, and critical issues, and support corrective actions.
Assess project plans and estimates against scope, effort, and deadlines.
Coordinate with technical teams and stakeholders to validate project status and delivery plans.
Improve project planning, monitoring, and delivery control processes.
Prepare regular reports highlighting progress, risks, and deviations.
🔹 Requirements
Previous experience in IT Project Control, PMO, IT Project Management, or Delivery Governance.
Good understanding of Agile methodologies and software development processes.
Experience with project plans, Gantt charts, milestones, KPIs, and effort tracking.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess risks and identify deviations.
Knowledge of Jira and familiarity with Confluence or similar tools.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and understand software delivery processes.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a pragmatic, results-oriented mindset.
Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and independent judgment.
Fluent Italian is required.
