Key Responsibilities
Industrial Data Platform & Historian
· Drive historian strategy, data availability and adoption across priority manufacturing units.
· Support OT-IT integration for reliable, secure and scalable manufacturing data flow.
· Define manufacturing data standards, tag governance, naming conventions and data quality expectations.
· Work with plant teams to identify critical data points across production, utilities, quality, maintenance and safety.
One View, Digital Shopfloor & Cockpits
· Support the design and deployment of One View Manufacturing Visibility across plants.
· Enable leadership and plant-level cockpits for production, utility, reliability, quality and performance KPIs.
· Support Digital Shopfloor initiatives such as DWM, eLogbooks and workflow digitization.
· Reduce manual reporting dependency by connecting dashboards to governed source systems wherever feasible.
Cloud, Data Architecture & Governance
· Support the design of scalable cloud-enabled manufacturing data architecture.
· Ensure data governance, access control, cybersecurity alignment and architecture review readiness.
· Enable reusable data products for analytics, AI models and business applications.
· Coordinate with IT architecture, cybersecurity and data teams for secure and future-ready solutions.
Emerging Technology, GenAI & Industrial Copilots
· Identify and pilot relevant GenAI use cases for manufacturing operations, maintenance, quality and decision support.
· Support Industrial Copilot concepts such as shift assistants, operator query assistants, troubleshooting assistants and knowledge copilots.
· Evaluate agentic manufacturing workflows where AI can orchestrate information, approvals, actions and feedback loops.
· Create structured business cases and proof-of-concepts for new digital technologies before scale-up.
Partner Pool, Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
· Work closely with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Utilities, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, IT and Cybersecurity stakeholders.
· Collaborate with MaxPro and Data Science teams for solution design, data modelling, analytics, governance and deployment support.
· Engage with CDT teams for digital solution architecture, execution support, standards alignment and scale-up planning.
· Build and manage a partner pool consisting of technology vendors, implementation partners, startups, platform providers and consulting partners.
· Support partner evaluation, proof-of-concepts, technical benchmarking, solution fitment, commercials inputs and go/no-go recommendations.
· Create repeatable implementation templates, adoption playbooks, value-tracking mechanisms and rollout governance for successful use cases.
Desired Skills & Experience
· 5–12 years of experience in Manufacturing IT, Industrial Automation, Digital Manufacturing, Data Platforms or Industry 4.0 roles.
· Good understanding of historian systems, plant data acquisition, OT-IT integration and manufacturing data flows.
· Exposure to cloud data platforms, dashboarding, data models and analytics use cases.
· Awareness of GenAI, Industrial Copilots, AI-enabled workflows and emerging manufacturing technologies.
· Ability to work with plant teams, IT teams, data science teams and external partners.
· Strong communication, structured problem-solving and execution orientation.
