Role Description The Senior Civil Engineer role at Quantet Builders is a full-time, on-site position based in Bathinda. This role involves leading and overseeing civil engineering design, planning, and execution for industrial and commercial construction projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing design drawings, specifications, and calculations; coordinating with multidisciplinary teams; and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements. The Senior Civil Engineer will also manage site activities, monitor construction quality and safety, support stormwater management and drainage solutions, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site staff. The role requires close collaboration with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications
B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 3 to 7 years of experience.
Strong proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering principles, with the ability to apply them to complex industrial and commercial projects.
Experience working as part of teams of Civil Engineers, providing technical leadership, mentoring, and coordination on multi-phase projects.
Solid Planning skills for project scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of site activities from design through completion.
Knowledge and experience in Stormwater Management, including drainage design, runoff analysis, and compliance with local regulations.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
Relevant professional experience in construction, infrastructure, or EPC projects, ideally in industrial and commercial environments.
Familiarity with engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or equivalent) and standard office tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to safety, quality, and detail.
Effective communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of applicable building codes, standards, and regulations; local site experience around Bathinda or North India is an advantage.
