QA Engineer (Automation) 5+yrs

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Automation QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining
automated test frameworks while ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications.
The role requires strong technical expertise in test automation, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to
collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and stakeholders. Strong communication skills
are a must, as the candidate will be expected to participate in requirement discussions, provide quality
insights, and communicate testing status proactively.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and test scripts.
• Create and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end
testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and define test
strategies.
• Perform API testing and automate API validation workflows.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
• Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
• Perform root cause analysis for defects and quality issues.
• Ensure software releases meet quality standards before deployment.
• Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to QA best practices.
