Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Ahmedabad. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, prepare layouts, and support space planning for residential and commercial projects. Daily responsibilities include creating and revising drawings, coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors, and assisting in FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, and materials. The role involves preparing construction drawings and documentation, conducting site visits to track progress and quality, and aligning designs with client requirements and project budgets. The Interior Designer will also participate in client presentations, collaborate with the design team, and contribute to maintaining project timelines and standards.
Qualifications
Ability to plan and organize interior layouts, with strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design.
Understanding of Architecture principles and coordination with structural and MEP teams.
Proficiency in preparing accurate Construction Drawings and technical documentation.
Experience with FF&E selection, including sourcing furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials.
Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to translate concepts into practical design solutions.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients, consultants, and site teams.
Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Prior studio or site experience in interior projects in Ahmedabad or similar markets is an advantage.
