Global Investment Banking, ECM Market Intelligence, Vice President/ Executive Director

Job responsibilities:
As a member on the ECM Market Intelligence team, you will be a key player in originating ECM transactions alongside senior bankers across ECM and coverage
Develop and maintain institutional investor relationships to provide market intelligence, investor feedback and strategic advice to corporate and private equity clients.
Focus on China and broader APAC Technology opportunities, particularly within the AI and hardware sectors, supporting issuer origination, market positioning and transaction execution.
Lead preparation of client presentations, pitches, RFPs and thought leadership materials related to equity capital markets and the technology sector.
Deliver market analysis, precedent transaction benchmarking and shareholder targeting to support client origination and execution efforts.
Partner closely with internal stakeholders across coverage, syndicate, sales and trading, equity research and legal throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Collaborate with global ECM Market Intelligence teams in New York and London on strategic initiatives supporting broader Investment Banking activities.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Minimum 6 years prior working experience in an ECM role or relevant investment banking role
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Economics or a related discipline
Strong track record in ECM origination and execution, with sound knowledge of equity capital markets and relevant products
Strong understanding of the ECM transaction lifecycle, with the ability to lead transactions from origination through execution
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage senior clients, investors and key internal stakeholders
Strong leadership capabilities, commercial judgment and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
Strong Mandarin proficiency to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients across the APAC region
