We’ve partnered with a fast-scaling infrastructure company that is changing how digital and physical systems connect. This isn’t legacy maintenance or “lift and shift to the cloud.” It’s architecting the platforms the wider tech world will depend on next.
Demand is outpacing global capacity, and they need a Senior Backend Engineer who wants to build core services from the ground up, not just operate them.
What you’ll be doing
Designing and building high-performance Go services and APIs (gRPC and REST) that power AI workloads, including LLMs and GPU-based systems
Running and shipping software on Kubernetes using Helm and the Kubernetes API
Working with PostgreSQL for fast, reliable data storage and querying
Shaping architecture through design reviews, and setting the bar for code quality and observability
Mentoring junior engineers and working closely with platform and ML teams
What you bring
Production experience in Go, including a solid grasp of concurrency, memory behaviour and performance at scale
Deep Kubernetes knowledge: you understand how it works under the hood, not only how to deploy to it
Experience designing and running distributed systems and microservices in production
A strong testing and code review habit, and a clean-code mindset
Autonomy and a proactive, solution-first approach
Nice to have
Serving LLMs or GPU workloads (vLLM, KServe) or scaling ML inference pipelines
Solid CI/CD and DevOps practices
