Job Description – Account Executive

Owns utility, rent and conveyance payments, payroll reconciliation, and capex booking across all salon outlets. Ensures bills are paid on time, costs hit the right store and GL, and capital spend is correctly capitalized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expense Booking & Payments: Handle booking of expenses and timely payments for utilities, rent, conveyance, and other operational expenses.
- Invoice Verification: Verify invoices for accuracy, supporting documents, approvals, and duplicate entries before processing payments.
- GST & TDS Compliance: Ensure correct GST and TDS calculations, deductions, and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Rent & Utility Management: Verify rent and utility bills, maintain records, and track payment due dates.
- Payroll Reconciliation: Reconcile payroll expenses with the general ledger and bank statements, including statutory deductions.
- Capex Accounting: Verify and book capital expenditure invoices, classify expenses correctly, and maintain fixed asset records.
- Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform vendor reconciliations, prepare expense schedules, and support month-end closing.
- Audit & Documentation: Maintain proper records and support internal and external audits.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, expense booking, invoice verification, and payment processing.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in capex accounting, rent payments, and expense reconciliation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, or multi-outlet businesses will be preferred.
