Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Delivery Driver role based in Tiruchirappalli. The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely transporting goods to customers and partner locations, following assigned routes and delivery schedules. Daily tasks include loading and unloading items, verifying delivery documentation, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and reporting any issues or delays. The role also involves interacting with customers in a professional manner, handling basic payment or delivery confirmation processes, and following all safety and traffic regulations. The Delivery Driver works closely with the operations team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications
Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients and recipients.
Basic Sales awareness, with the ability to represent the agency positively and support service-related inquiries.
Experience or willingness to learn Forklift Operation and safe handling of goods, where applicable to the role.
Food & Beverage handling awareness, including proper care of perishable items when delivering food-related products.
Ability to participate in and benefit from Training programs focused on safety, route management, and service standards.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record appropriate for local regulations in Tiruchirappalli.
Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work flexible hours as operational needs require.
Physical ability to lift, carry, and move packages as part of daily delivery activities.
