SEO / ASO Specialist (Contract, 3 Months, Remote)

We are building MiGynae, a pregnancy and maternal health application focused on making reliable, evidence-based care accessible and reducing anxiety for expectant mothers.
Role Description
We are looking for an SEO/ASO specialist to grow MiGynae's organic discovery across the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and search. You'll own our app store presence and website search performance for a focused 3-month engagement, with clear goals set at the start.
This is a full-time, 3-month contract role with potential to extend or convert based on results.
What You'll Work On
Audit and optimize our App Store and Play Store listings (titles, subtitles, keywords, descriptions, screenshots, preview assets)
Conduct keyword research for pregnancy and maternal health searches in India, including Hindi and regional-language queries
Run A/B tests on store listings (e.g., Google Play store listing experiments) and report on results
Improve ratings and reviews strategy, including in-app review prompts and response workflows
Perform technical and on-page SEO for our website (site structure, metadata, page speed, schema markup)
Plan and optimize health content for search, working with our medical team to ensure accuracy
Set up tracking and reporting for organic installs, keyword rankings, and conversion rates
What We're Looking For
Hands-on experience with ASO for mobile apps (portfolio or measurable results required)
Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals: keyword research, on-page and technical SEO
Familiarity with tools such as Google Play Console, App Store Connect, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and ASO tools (AppTweak, Sensor Tower, data.ai, or similar)
Ability to define goals, run experiments, and report results independently
Experience in health, wellness, or consumer apps in India is a strong plus
Comfort with Hindi or another Indian language is a plus
