About the Team
The Genesys Global Security, Privacy & Compliance Centre of Excellence (COE SPC) provides expert security advisory services to Sales, Pre-Sales, Customers, and Partners. The team serves as the single point of contact for all security, privacy, and compliance-related customer engagements within the Genesys Cloud Business Unit.
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Cloud Security Architect to join the Genesys Global Security, Privacy & Compliance Centre of Excellence (COE SPC) as a technical Security Subject Matter Expert (SME). This is a hands-on, customer-facing technical security role, not a compliance or GRC position. You will work closely with Sales, Engineering, Product Security, and Architecture teams to support consulting, customer audits, security assessments, technical reviews, executive briefings, and evidence-based engagements for Genesys Cloud.
As one of the team's technical security SMEs, you will apply your expertise in cloud security, AI security, and security controls to explain and defend the Genesys Cloud security, privacy, and compliance posture. You will interpret technical evidence, respond to complex security inquiries, defend security contractual terms, and engage directly with customers, partners, auditors, and executive stakeholders within the APAC region.
This role is highly consultative and requires excellent English communication and presentation skills. You will regularly represent Genesys Cloud during customer executive briefings, security workshops, webinars, conferences, partner events, and industry forums. You must be comfortable presenting complex technical security concepts to audiences ranging from security practitioners and architects to CISOs, CIOs, and other senior executives, both remotely and in person, to any of our global customers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead customer-facing security discussions with customers, prospects, partners, auditors, and internal stakeholders on Genesys Cloud architecture, penetration testing, vulnerability management, remediation, privacy, compliance, and AI security.
Provide technical consulting that maps Genesys Cloud security capabilities and controls to customer security, regulatory, and risk management requirements.
Develop, validate, and present technical evidence demonstrating the effectiveness of controls across identity and access management, encryption, key management, network security, logging, monitoring, incident response, application security, AI security, and secure software development.
Deliver technical deep dives, security workshops, and executive briefings for audiences ranging from security practitioners and auditors to CISOs, CIOs, and senior business leaders.
Own complex customer security, privacy, and compliance matters and contractual security negotiations.
Represent Genesys at strategic customer engagements, partner events, conferences, webinars, and industry forums across APAC, contributing to external security thought leadership.
This Role Offers
A highly technical, customer-facing Cloud Security Architect role within a global Centre of Excellence.
Collaboration with Engineering, Product Security, Architecture, Privacy, Compliance, and AI teams.
Exposure to complex enterprise cloud environments and leading global customer security organisations.
The opportunity to shape customer trust in Genesys Cloud and its AI capabilities through technical assurance, executive engagement, and industry representation.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ experience cybersecurity, cloud security, application security, security architecture, or related technical security disciplines.
Strong practical expertise in AWS security, cloud-native architectures, APIs, Kubernetes, and modern SaaS security models.
Proven experience designing, securing, operating, or assessing enterprise cloud environments and cloud-native applications.
Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, conversational AI, or other AI-enabled application architectures, including their security and data-protection risks.
Practical knowledge of modern AI security threats and controls, including prompt injection, data leakage, insecure output handling, excessive agency, model and tool abuse, identity and authorization risks, and AI supply-chain dependencies.
Experience applying recognized AI security guidance, including the OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications and OWASP Agentic AI security guidance.
Strong understanding of identity and access management, encryption, data protection, API security, vulnerability management, threat modelling, and DevSecOps practices.
Working understanding of privacy and compliance considerations associated with enterprise AI, particularly data handling, access, retention, transparency, governance, and third-party AI services.
Experience supporting enterprise security assessments, technical due diligence, audits, customer assurance, or customer-facing security engagements.
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical security and AI concepts clearly to both highly technical teams and senior executives.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Hands-on experience designing, deploying, securing, integrating, or operating enterprise virtual agents/assistants (AVAs), conversational AI, AI agents, or similar AI-powered customer experience solutions.
Experience taking AI-enabled applications into production, including API/tool integrations, identity and authorization, data flows, guardrails, observability, monitoring, and operational security.
Experience with AI red teaming, adversarial testing, threat modelling, AI security assessments, or model/application evaluation frameworks.
Experience assessing AI systems against emerging AI governance, privacy, security, or regulatory requirements.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, security automation, CI/CD security, or cloud security engineering.
