We are looking for an experienced Senior / Principal Software Engineer to help shape the evolution of an AI-powered revenue intelligence platform. In this role, you will design and develop sophisticated integrations, build intelligent workflows, and deliver scalable solutions that improve sales productivity and revenue visibility. You will work across a modern technology stack, including React, TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS, solving complex engineering challenges in a growing SaaS environment. You will also help establish robust architectural foundations while leveraging AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery without compromising quality. Working closely with a distributed team, you will contribute to product innovation and support an expanding international customer base. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for an engineer who combines technical depth, strong architectural judgment, and a passion for building reliable software at scale.
Accountabilities
As a Senior / Principal Software Engineer, you will drive the development of high-quality software, contribute to architectural decisions, and improve the scalability and reliability of an AI-driven SaaS platform.
Design, develop, and maintain complex integrations that connect the platform with Salesforce and other relevant systems.
Build and optimize AI-driven workflows that automate revenue operations and improve visibility into deals, sales pipelines, and forecasting.
Develop scalable, maintainable frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
Design and implement backend services and APIs using Node.js, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure.
Contribute to system architecture, applying sound software design patterns and distributed computing principles.
Build, deploy, and maintain cloud-based solutions using AWS services and best practices.
Improve software quality, reliability, and delivery speed through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and effective development workflows.
Leverage AI-assisted coding tools and automation to streamline engineering processes while maintaining high standards for security, maintainability, and performance.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Identify technical challenges, troubleshoot complex issues, and continuously improve application performance and system reliability.
Contribute to engineering standards, architectural decisions, and development practices that support long-term product growth.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is an accomplished software engineer with strong full-stack development expertise, cloud architecture experience, and a product-oriented mindset suited to a fast-moving SaaS environment.
At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
Expert-level proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
Strong backend development skills with Node.js and PostgreSQL.
Practical experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
Solid understanding of software design patterns, system architecture, and distributed computing principles.
Experience working with Agile methodologies and implementing CI/CD practices.
Experience working in SaaS product companies, with an understanding of scalable product development and customer-focused engineering.
Comfortable using AI tools in software development and motivated to automate workflows where doing so improves productivity without sacrificing code quality.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex engineering challenges independently.
Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Willingness to maintain working-hour overlap with Central European Time (CET ±2 hours).
Benefits
Annual compensation of €90,000–€110,000, with pay determined by market rates in the applicant's country.
