Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Test Engineer role based in Hyderabad. The Senior Test Engineer will design, review, and optimize test strategies and test cases to ensure high-quality delivery across complex applications and platforms. Responsibilities include planning and executing functional and regression test cycles, analyzing test results, logging and tracking defects, and collaborating closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to resolve issues. The role involves hands-on contributing to test automation initiatives, improving test coverage, and aligning testing practices with AI-led Quality Engineering standards and continuous integration workflows. The Senior Test Engineer will also mentor junior team members, support best practices in quality engineering, and participate in client communication when required.
What we are looking for
3-4 Years of hands on experience in Playwight with Typescript / javaScript is a must.
Proficiency in designing, developing and maintaining UI, API and Database test scripts aligned with business and technical requirements.
Execlent failure analysis and debugging skills. logging and managing defects in Jira/testrail and contribute to quality KPI reporting
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, defect management tools (e.g., Test rail, JIRA), and quality metrics reporting.
Experience in implementing cross browser, cross platform, parallel test execution using browserstack.
Practical experience in Functional Testing, including regression, integration, and system testing.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good To Have Skills
