🔑 Key Skills Required
Firewall Administration: Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet (FN), and Cisco ASA
Network Security Automation: API-based firewall policy changes and automation
Scripting & Development: Python, .NET, and Bash
Automation Tools: Tufin, TOS Aurora (ST/SC API), and Ansible
Containerisation: Kubernetes and Docker
Technical Environment: Linux administration, GitHub, Wiki, and Jira
Ability to understand existing code, analyse customer requirements, and deliver operational improvements
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Administer and manage Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls.
Design and develop automated solutions for Network Security Orchestrator backend systems and portal servers.
Build automation tools for routine operational activities, including upgrades.
Implement API-driven firewall policy changes and improve network security operations.
Analyse requirements and support ongoing security automation initiatives.
⚠️ Mandatory Eligibility Requirements
Must be a citizen of a country that is both an EU and NATO member.
Must be employed by a German legal entity under German labour law.
Must hold Ü2 sabotage protection security clearance under Germany’s Security Clearance Act (SÜG).
