· Build a strong qualified pipeline through prospecting, networking, structured outreach and market development.
· Manage the full sales cycle—from discovery and solution design to proposals, negotiation, contracting, onboarding and delivery.
· Grow strategic customer relationships with growers, cooperatives, packhouses, traders, retailers, logistics providers, poolers and other industry stakeholders.
· Manage regional MPCI assets, including allocation, storage, audits, record-keeping, collection and redistribution through third-party logistics partners.
· Balance revenue growth, margin, customer value and operational feasibility while supporting accurate billing and timely payment cycles.
· Maintain high-quality Salesforce records, forecasts, activity reports and next steps to provide dependable pipeline visibility.
· Turn customer insight, competitor activity and market trends into practical recommendations for commercial strategy and product development.
· Represent MPCI professionally at customer meetings, trade fairs and industry events.
Success Measures
· Achievement of agreed revenue, margin and growth targets.
· A healthy, well-qualified French sales pipeline and improved conversion rates.
· Accurate forecasting, disciplined CRM management and actionable market intelligence.
· Retention and profitable development of strategic customers.
· Reliable asset control and cost-effective collection, storage and distribution.
· Customer solutions that are commercially attractive, operationally practical and sustainable.
What you bring
· A relevant tertiary qualification in business, sales, supply chain, agriculture, international trade or a related field or comparable commercial education.
· At least five years’ experience in B2B business development, export sales or commercial management.
· A proven record of prospecting, winning new business and developing strategic accounts in France.
· Experience in at least one relevant environment, such as agricultural packaging, fresh produce, agribusiness, reusable transit packaging, pooling, supply-chain solutions, plastics manufacturing, export logistics, FMCG or retail.
· Strong negotiation, pricing and commercial judgement, with sound awareness of profitability and customer economics.
· Fluent French and strong professional English.
· Comfort using Salesforce or a comparable CRM, commercial data and responsible AI-enabled tools for research, preparation and administration.
You will thrive in this role if you are
· Results-focused and energised by creating opportunities in an evolving market.
· A consultative seller who can translate supply-chain challenges into compelling commercial value.
· Credible with senior decision-makers and skilled at building durable, trust-based relationships.
· Self-directed, organised and resilient, with the judgement to prioritise the right opportunities.
· Collaborative across functions, countries and cultures, without relying on formal authority.
· Interested in reusable packaging, sustainability and circular-economy solutions.
